Frequently Asked Questions

Which courier is cheapest for sending parcels from Darlington?

Prices depend on parcel size, weight, speed and destination. Evri and Royal Mail are often competitive for smaller items, while comparison tools can help you find the best deal for larger or international parcels.

Can I send a parcel on the same day?

Yes. Same-day specialists such as CitySprint can collect and deliver urgent items quickly, while national carriers offer next-day and timed delivery options for less urgent shipments.

What should I do if my parcel is delayed?

Start by checking the tracking information and any messages from the courier. If the issue persists, contact the sender or courier through their official customer service channels, and keep proof of postage and packaging in case you need to make a claim.

Are parcel lockers secure?

Parcel lockers are generally very secure, as they require a unique code or app authentication to open. They are an excellent option for people who are frequently away from home during the day and want to avoid missed deliveries.

Which courier is best for international parcels?

For urgent international shipments, express carriers such as DHL, FedEx and UPS offer fast transit times and strong customs support. For less urgent items, Royal Mail and Parcelforce international services can be more economical.
